The featured image (thumbnail) you are seeing for this post is a crude drawing I made out of freshly picked gardens vegetables. I believe it was onion and garlic wrapped together with a leaf on top. That is why I referred to it as a veggie wrap–which to me is still pretty funny. This leads to the bigger question as seen in the title: What’s the Point?
Maybe with so many forms of communication such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Viber, What’s app and many more tools than I can even think of, is there a need for Snapchat? Probably not. That doesn’t mean people will not use it though. Myself included.
An article I recently read highlighted the same question about Snapchat and whether or not it served an actual purpose. The truth is that it does, because despite the many forms of communication out there, we pick and choose the way we want to exchange information and if it happens to be through crudely drawn pictures, toilet snaps and 300 second long stories, well that’s just how it goes.
Check out the article here. It’s pretty interesting.
