Syracuse Stage Presents: Steve Martin’s “The Underpants”
Syracuse Stage tickets are currently available for purchase in the Arts & Sciences office (Gordon 286) for $15 each at Utica College; A program that consistently offers students (and others) the opportunity to get tickets for Broadway plays at a great price.
This sale offers viewings for comedian Steve Martin from ‘The Underpants,’ as directed by Bill Fennelly.
The following is a trailer for the show. A little sneak peek, so you know what you’re getting:

A very public wardrobe malfunction (a young woman’s underpants fall down at a parade—for the King!) becomes the talk of the town in this ribald update of an uproarious German farce. (Yes, there is such a thing.) Chock-full of sexual innuendo, verbal jousting, and non-stop laughter, The Underpants skewers the absurdity of instant fame. Das ist funny! Tickets are for the performance on Saturday, October 24 at 3:00 p.m.
Transportation by bus will be available free of charge to students. The buses will depart from Strebel Circle by 1:20 p.m. While they may give you an extra five minutes or so, you’ll want to be there on time. You don’t want to miss it.

Autumn Extravaganza
For those who love celebrating fall and are looking to go on a quick field trip, St. John the Baptist Church in Newport is hosting Autumn Extravaganza with a craft sale, bake sale, pumpkin decorating, International Luncheon, and more.
Les Porter will be leading a service auction starting at 1:30 p.m. Church and members of the community will volunteer services and goods to be auctioned off. These services include: cords of wood, lasagna dinners, airport transportation, gift certificates and baskets.
The event will take place at 7514 Main Street at the church Saturday, Oct. 24. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the church’s Restoration Fund.
